Here's an overview of the the Pandemic plan: Plan Summary: Provides an overview of the plans objective - providing the management response to the event of an Influenza Pandemic. Section One - Assumptions: This part of the plan provides the assumptions and gives context to the actions and strategies detailed later in the plan.  Below is a sample: Anticipated period of the pandemic (Eg, 12 to 24 months) An anticipated percentage of staff being absent Possible increase/decrease in demand for services Section Two - Strategy:  This section provides the main objectives to manage the impact of a pandemic on staff and business operations. Section Three - Pandemic Phases: The strategies and actions within the plan are aligned to the four WHO phases illustrated below: Figure1 - WHO Pandemic Phases Section Four - Team Members: This section lists the details of the personnel that are responsible for managing the responses during all phases of the pandemic. Section Five - Critical Business Functions: In the event of a full scaled pandemic your organisation will need to remain focused on its critical business functions and operations. Section Six - Key Skills and Staff: This section helps you identify the key skills and staff to support the implementation of the pandemic plan.
